I’m Jen, a German to English translator from the Pacific Northwest. I specialize in literature, music and poetry, healthcare, and editing. My mission is to provide accurate, culturally appropriate, and thoroughly researched translations tailored to your audience. With a background in music, linguistics, and creative writing, I approach my work with a mix of art and science, creating translations that are both technically sound and nice to read.
Origin Story
I earned my degree at Portland State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature, Applied Linguistics, and Music History. In 2014, I studied at the Goethe Institut in Berlin, where I was able to put my language skills to the test both in the classroom and at the nearby Weihnachstmarkt after a long day of filling my brain.
